Accounting Technology
Accounting Technology has a broad focus that emphasizes the skills required for a successful career in accounting or bookkeeping. Students take a variety of courses in subjects such as financial accounting, payroll accounting, tax accounting, and managerial accounting. Students also become proficient with several computer accounting systems. Select courses are available through distance learning. The Accounting Technology curriculum is reviewed by an advisory board composed of local and regional industry members.
Health Service Option
The primary mission of the Accounting Technology Degree Option in Health Services is to prepare individuals for accounting careers in the health service arena. This degree melds existing coursework in the Accounting Technology Program with medical coursework to form an integrated option under the Accounting Technology Associate of Applied Science Degree.
Program graduates, possessing an understanding of both accounting and medical concepts and principles, will be able to work in a variety of health service environments. The program of study is drawn from an array of disciplines that include information technology, mathematics, communication, accounting, human resources, and health.

The dual study program for Management and Information Systems developed its curriculum based on the Vision and Mission of BINUS UNIVERSITY. The curriculum has been influenced by the ACM, namely ISSC’99 (Information System-Centric Curriculum’99 for educating the Next generation of Information Systems Specialists, in collaboration with industry) and the curricula of foreign universities with an international reputation in management study programs and business.

The business management technology program also has options in computer-based management technology, and real estate management technology. Accounting (ACC): The Accounting curriculum provides the student with the basic knowledge and skills necessary for successful careers in business, government or public accounting. The courses seek to minimize the amount of onthe-job training and experience required to qualify for satisfactory levels of responsibility and remuneration. In addition students completing the accounting curriculum acquire the valuable foundation to pursue graduate study. Computerbased instruction is an integral part of the curriculum.
