You want to experience and shape the world around you. At Salem College, we applaud this ambition and challenge you to do more than succeed: we want you to shine.
As the nation’s oldest institution of education for women, we combine the best of old and new. You can stroll down the cobblestoned streets of Old Salem — a restored Moravian village — then head a few blocks up to downtown Winston-Salem’s thriving stores, galleries and restaurants.
We invite you to join us at a college where women from all over the world are encouraged to shine in every aspect of their lives. From the first moment you step on campus to the day you graduate, we give you the freedom to explore your skills and talents; be actively involved with the community; make lifelong friendships with fellow students; and learn from outstanding faculty members. We’re confident you will experience a vision of education at Salem that will shape your present and impact your future.
