College credit for high school students, Running Start and advanced placement
College level credit will be evaluated in a manner consistent with standard transfer equivalency programs. Students must submit official college transcripts to receive credit for college courses completed.

Running Start students must follow freshman application procedures and meet freshman admission standards including completion of high school course requirements.

Students participating in the College Entrance Examination Board’s Advanced Placement Examinations will receive course credit for scores of 3, 4 or 5.

Application procedure
Freshman should apply any time between late fall of their senior year and March 1, the deadline for priority financial aid funding. Notification of your admissions status will begin after 1 Dec.

To apply, follow the steps below.

1. Submit a completed Saint Martin’s University application for admission. (You may apply by writing to the address or calling the number on the admissions home page and requesting an application or by downloading an application online).

2. Request a sealed, official high school transcript, and include it with your application.

3. Have official transcripts of any completed college level work sent to the Office of Admissions.

4. Have official test scores from either the College Board Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT I) or the American College Testing Program (ACT) sent to the Office of Admissions.

5. Submit a personal essay.

Scholarships at Missouri S&T are many and varied. Some of the most prestigious are awarded early, allowing Missouri S&T to send out individual student financial aid profiles as early as December. February 1 is the deadline.

Admissions Requirements for accounting at Saint Francis University

Individuals interested in applying for admission to any undergraduate program offered through the Office of Continuing Education (OCE) must submit the following materials to the OCE:
Completed application form
Application fee of $30
Letter of recommendation (from a non-family member)
Official high school transcript or evidence of GED
Official transcripts for all post-secondary study (with course descriptions)

In addition to the above, candidates for the Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership or the Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Management program must forward a total of three letters of recommendation and provide proof of a minimum of three years full-time work experience.

The application for admission will not be processed until these materials have been received. Credit evaluation of courses taken at other accredited colleges will be completed at that time. After all the above materials have been submitted to the OCE, the adult learner:
will be notified to schedule an interview with an administrative staff member of the OCE
may be requested to sit for additional evaluation and/or testing.

The admissions process evaluates the strengths and educational histories of each candidate on an individual basis. Consideration is given to prior educational experience and letters of recommendation supplied by educators or employers, in an effort to determine the candidate’s motivation, character and ability to participate successfully in college studies. Applicants must have satisfied secondary school requirements for graduation or, with good performance, have obtained a General Education Diploma (GED).

Admission requirements bachelor in Accounting at Université du Québec à Montréal

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Accounting concentration or financial performance) or the equivalent, obtained with a cumulative average of at least 3.2 to 4.3 or equivalent.

Any application involving a cumulative average of less than 3.2, but equal to or greater than 2.8 will be considered by the subcommittee for admission and evaluation and may, exceptionally, to be recommendation for admission. If the subcommittee considers it necessary, the candidate will require additional courses and (or) maintaining a minimum cumulative average for a given set of program activities.

Applicants must have sufficient knowledge of French (both orally and in writing) and a functional command of reading English, the reference documents are often written in that language. This knowledge can be assessed by the program. The candidate who did not meet those requirements could be imposed on academic upgrading.

Applicants must also have sufficient knowledge of word processing, presentation, database and spreadsheet.

The application for admission must be sent to the Registrar and shall include:
- The completed application form
- A letter written by the candidate stating his expectations in the program
- Two letters of recommendation
- Statements of official transcripts of all university, except those carried out at UQAM
- The curriculum vitae of the candidate
- A copy of birth certificate

Any document written in a language other than French or English must be accompanied by an official translation into one of these two languages.

General Admission Procedures ^ TOP

Applicants must complete and submit all required forms and credentials to the College by the established semester deadline. Because the College may find it necessary to stop accepting applications for a specific semester, students are encouraged to apply or update their applications well in advance of the deadline. Late applications may be considered at the discretion of the Director of Admissions. The following items are required of all applicants:
Completed application for admission and a non-refundable, one time only application processing fee of $35 with paper application or $25 with on-line application. Applications may be requested from the Admissions Office at the Gainesville Campus, the Administration Building at the Oconee Campus, or online at www.gsc.edu.
Official high school or official GED Scores and/or college transcripts. Documents must be mailed directly from the sending institution to the Admissions Office at the Gainesville Campus. OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS OR TEST SCORES MUST BE IN A SEALED ENVELOPE FROM ORIGINATING AGENCY.
Social Security number. Applications for Social Security numbers may be obtained from any United States Post Office.
Certificate of Immunization. Certificates may be obtained from the Admissions Office, or a copy may be printed online at www.gsc.edu.
Please note: All Foreign nationals educated outside of the U.S. must submit Official TOEFL scores for admission consideration.

Final acceptance or denial of each applicant is determined by the Director of Admissions, subject to the applicant’s right of appeal as provided by the policies of the College and the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance when the application process is completed. Delays in acceptance will occur if application materials are received in several segments and/or if the applicant must be reminded to submit certain documents.

The College reserves the right to rescind admission prior to or following enrollment if the applicant/student becomes ineligible as determined by the standards of the College and/or Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in economics or related fields with a minimum grade-point average of 3.0. Furthermore a strong command of the English language is required as well as a good knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and electronic data processing.
Admission decisions are made in a two-stage process with a preselection based on the application papers followed by an interview with the preselected part of the applicants.
The preselection is based on the following criteria:
the declaration of the special interest of the applicant in studying the specific Masters Program,
the grade-point average in the studies on which the application is based,
special knowledge and skills in the fields that are especially qualifying for the Master Program (i. e. special know how in finance, accounting, and taxes) and are documented by the focus on and the performance in these fields in the Bsc. or equivalent program.

Qualified candidates will be invited to a selection interview. The admission committee informs the applicants in written form.

Starting from application for winter term 2009/2010:
Deadline for application is the 15th May (for the winter term) and the 15th November (for the summer term). These dates apply for applicants from foreign countries as well. The application for admission requires to fill in an online form for admission, which is activated on the website of the faculty from April 1st (for application for the winter term) and from October 1st (for application for the summer term).

These awards are based on academic merit and range from $1,000 to $6,000. A minimum ACT score of 21 is required for each award level. Kuyper Achivement Awards are granted based on information provided on the application for admission and the Financial Aid Office will notify prospective students of their award. The KAA are awarded on a rolling basis and are renewable.

The Canadian Grant-in-Aid is awarded to every Kuyper College student from Canada who completes the Canadian Endowed Scholarship Application. Canadian Need-Based Grants are available to Canadian students who complete the Canadian Endowed Scholarship Application and demonstrates financial need. This aid is awarded on a rolling basis. Canadian students also benefit from a Kuyper College exchange-rate allowance of 50 percent and are eligible for the Canada Student Loan Program. Christian Leadership Scholarship
This scholarship is sponsored through our Kuyper College alumni and is available to students who have a GPA of 3.2 or higher and are involved in leadership positions. Multicultural Scholarship
Several Multicultural Scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 are given annually as part of Kuyper College’s efforts to create an intercultural student body and a campus community that celebrates cultural diversity. These scholarships are offered to selected first year students. A GPA of 2.5 or higher is required. Recipients of the Multicultural Scholarships are expected to use their talents at Kuyper College by being involved in student leadership and by striving to develop their academic, spiritual, and social leadership skills. Scholarships offered by the Office of Race Relations to students who plan to avail themselves to train for and to engage in the ministry of racial reconciliation in church and/or in society. The deadline is April 1st.

Grants of up to $500 are available to RCA members of certain racial and ethnic backgrounds who attend or plan to attend college. The grants are made on the basis of need. Admission Requirements of Accounting at Mennonite College of Nursing Illinois

All University and Graduate School requirements for admission to a degree program of the Graduate School at Illinois State University will apply.

Graduate students who have been admitted to the University will be admitted to the Master of Science in Accountancy program based upon their performance on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), on their previous academic performance, and other evidence of the student’s ability to successfully complete the program.

Before entering the program students will normally have had a Bachelor of Science in accounting degree based upon the study of the Financial Accounting Standards Board’s pronouncements, the AICPA’s Statements on Auditing Standards, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Boards’s (PCAOB) auditing standards, and the Internal Revenue Code. Otherwise, there may be deficiencies as determined by the department.

International students are required to submit a TOEFL score of 100 or more (internet-based test), 250 or more (computer version), or 600 or more (paper version) with their application for admission.
Admission Policy

See Graduate Admissions for further information and to obtain a graduate admissions application. Students will be considered for admission to the Master of Science in Accountancy program based upon their performance on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), previous academic performance, and other evidence of the student’s ability to successfully complete the program.

Admission recommendations are made by the MSA director and forwarded to the department chairperson, and then to the Graduate School. The director of the MSA program will review the background of each candidate after admission to determine their level of preparation for the program. Candidates with an undergraduate degree in accounting from an AACSB accredited institution will typically have the requisite background to begin graduate-level course work in accounting. Other candidates may be required to complete foundation/deficiency courses in addition to the MSA degree requirements.

The number of students admitted to the program and the grade point average and GMAT score required for admission may vary from semester to semester depending on program capacity and qualifications of the pool of qualified applicants. The department reserves the right to curtail admission, adjust requirements, and limit enrollment in the program because of space or budget restrictions.

Students admitted to the program who have completed a baccalaureate degree in accounting that reflects the study of the Financial Accounting Standards Board’s pronouncements, the AICPA’s Statements on Auditing Standards, the PCAOB’s auditing standards, and the Internal Revenue Code will usually be given credit for all, or most, of the undergraduate prerequisite courses. Students admitted to the program who have not completed a baccalaureate degree in accounting as described above can expect prerequisite deficiency courses to be added to their plan of study. Deficiency course requirements will be determined by the program director.

Students whose native language is not English must score at least 100 points (internet-based test), 250 points (computer version), or 600 points (paper version) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) in order to be considered for admission into the master’s program.

Applicants are encouraged to submit admission applications, transcripts, and necessary test scores early. All applications will be pooled, with admittance decisions made shortly after the dates published below.
