Kuyper Achievement Awards (KAA)
These awards are based on academic merit and range from $1,000 to $6,000. A minimum ACT score of 21 is required for each award level. Kuyper Achivement Awards are granted based on information provided on the application for admission and the Financial Aid Office will notify prospective students of their award. The KAA are awarded on a rolling basis and are renewable.

Kuyper College Endowed Scholarships
Kuyper College has an assortment of endowed scholarships that are awarded on the basis of several criteria including financial need, career interest, academic achievement and special status.The Kuyper College endowed scholarships are awarded by the Financial Aid Office based on evaluation of the above criteria and with the completion of the Endowed Scholarship Application, the FAFSA and a required 2.0 GPA or higher.

Kuyper College Canadian Aid
The Canadian Grant-in-Aid is awarded to every Kuyper College student from Canada who completes the Canadian Endowed Scholarship Application. Canadian Need-Based Grants are available to Canadian students who complete the Canadian Endowed Scholarship Application and demonstrates financial need. This aid is awarded on a rolling basis. Canadian students also benefit from a Kuyper College exchange-rate allowance of 50 percent and are eligible for the Canada Student Loan Program. Students should submit loan applications through their province’s ministry of education.

Christian Leadership Scholarship
This scholarship is sponsored through our Kuyper College alumni and is available to students who have a GPA of 3.2 or higher and are involved in leadership positions. Students must complete an application and write an essay. The application deadline is February 15. The award is $1,500 per year and renewable.

Multicultural Scholarship
Several Multicultural Scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 are given annually as part of Kuyper College’s efforts to create an intercultural student body and a campus community that celebrates cultural diversity. These scholarships are offered to selected first year students. A GPA of 2.5 or higher is required. Recipients of the Multicultural Scholarships are expected to use their talents at Kuyper College by being involved in student leadership and by striving to develop their academic, spiritual, and social leadership skills. The application deadline is February 15.

Christian Reformed Church North America
Scholarships offered by the Office of Race Relations to students who plan to avail themselves to train for and to engage in the ministry of racial reconciliation in church and/or in society. The deadline is April 1st.

Grants of up to $500 are available to RCA members of certain racial and ethnic backgrounds who attend or plan to attend college. The grants are made on the basis of need. Students who receive a grant will continue to receive a grant for at least the initial amount until they complete their academic program. The deadline is May 1st.

For over 20 years, the Vance H. Havner Scholarship Fund has been used by God to send forth hundreds of effective Christian leaders. The Scholarship Fund was established in 1978, with the blessing of Dr. Vance H. Havner. It focuses on training pastors, missionaries, and evangelists. The deadline is June 1st.

Grand Rapids Community Foundation
Each year the Grand Rapids Community Foundation awards approximately $500,000 in scholarships to Kent County residents. Some select scholarships are also available for residents of other counties. If you are a U.S. citizen or certified permanent resident residing in Kent or, in some cases, other counties and plan to attend an educational institution in the 2009-2010 academic year you may want to review the list of scholarships available from the Foundation. The deadline is April 1st.

The American Indian College Fund provides scholarships and other support for the American Indian students. The Fund disburses approximately 5,000 scholarships annually for American Indian students seeking to better their lives through continued education.
