Application Deadlines
Applicants who graduated from a Canadian university:
Deadline for Degree courses beginning in May: April 1
Deadline for Degree courses beginning in September: August 1

Applicants who graduated from a university outside of Canada:

Mount Aloysius College awards more than nine million dollars of financial aid assistance each year. You could receive a piece of that nine million.

Important Financial Aid Dates

To apply for financial aid, complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, as soon after January 1 as possible. Mount Aloysius College priority FAFSA deadline is April 1 each year. The Financial Aid Office strongly suggests you and your parents (if applicable) have your Federal Income taxes completed before you file your FAFSA. ***Those students who submit their FAFSA to the federal processor by March 15th will be entered into a drawing for a $1,000 tuition scholarship. Two scholarships will be awarded each year. One will be given to a new, full-time student and one to a returning, full-time student.

The FAFSA may be filed online. FAFSA worksheets are available at the Financial Aid office, FAFSA website or your high school guidance office. (Our FAFSA code is 003302.) Each year you will need to file a new FAFSA while attending Mount Aloysius.

To apply for the PHEAA State Grant, complete and submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid by the May 1 deadline.
We recommend that all students apply for financial aid as early as possible, so that we can consider your eligibility for available funds.

Financial aid packages are based on the university’s analysis of student need as determined by processing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA may be obtained from high school counselors, University of Saint Mary, or can be completed online.

Financial Aid Application
Apply early! Saint Mary awards financial aid packages after students are admitted. We have a “rolling admissions” policy, which means applications are processed as soon as they are submitted. The sooner you apply the better!

Financial aid awards are also made on a “rolling basis.” Our ability to award packages is based on the availability of institutional, local, state, and federal funds.

How to Apply for Financial Aid
First, apply - It pays to apply early!
It can literally pay for you to apply early. Since financial aid is awarded on a rolling basis, the earlier applications are submitted, the more funds will be available.
The priority application date for financial aid is April 1.
All forms should be submitted no later than April 1.
Complete a confidential analysis of your family resources using the FAFSA, available from high school counselors our financial aid office, or online. Be sure to request that University of Saint Mary (Title IV code -001943) is sent a report.

Generally, students with GMAT scores of 500 or higher and a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher will be admitted to the MSA program.

Applications are accepted for entry in the fall, spring and summer terms. Most students begin the program in the summer or fall terms to facilitate appropriate sequencing of courses. Applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible to ensure that their applications are processed and that they can be admitted for the term they want.

Students interested in graduate assistantships are encouraged to apply for these awards by April 1 for the following academic year.
