Program Eligibility

The UBC Diploma in Accounting Program is open to:
University business degree graduates with a non-accounting major.
University degree graduates from a non-business program.
Mature applicants (GMAT test results and documented accounting-related work experience required).

MBA and MS Accountancy Admissions Requirements at Saint Peter’s College

To apply for admission, a candidate completes an Application Form and submits it with a transcript (in English) showing completion of a bachelor’s degree. The transcript may be a copy. In addition to an application and transcript, international students must provide evidence of English language proficiency. The applicant may submit a TOEFL score, a transcript showing successful completion of college courses taught in English, or a letter from an administrator or professor at a college or university identifying the level of English language proficiency.
Evaluation of Applications

Applications will be evaluated based upon information submitted in the application, undergraduate grade point averages and letters of recommendation. The College may request additional information, including scores on the GMAT, GRE, MAT, LSAT, or other standardized exams. The College will promptly notify applicants of the status of the application.

Accounting Degree at Sheridan College

Sheridan is offering accountants who live in Canada, and have been trained and educated outside of Canada, a unique program that utilizes their existing business knowledge and accounting experience and focuses on developing that knowledge to their advantage in the Canadian business environment. Emphasis on up-to-date Canadian financial accounting, business communication, taxation and law will broaden your knowledge base and facilitate your career transition to the Canadian workplace.

SPECIAL OPPORTUNITIES
This program offers internationally educated individuals who have worked in accounting (or a related field) the opportunity to develop their skills for the Canadian work place. Graduate students will demonstrate the ability to apply accepted Canadian accounting and financial practices in accordance with the ethical regulatory requirements of the Canadian business environment.

UNIQUE LEARNING EXPERIENCES
Courses in this program have been tailored to the internationally educated and trained individual who wishes to continue his/her accounting career in Canada. The program utilizes such techniques as lecture, student projects and presentations, role plays, research, lab, and the case method to integrate knowledge of Canadian accounting, tax and legal requirements into their previous work experience.

The program uses an alternate delivery strategy of 6 hours per week, offered one evening and Saturday each week for 7 weeks. The academic program consists of five 7 week semester.

Major in Accounting at Judson College Marion

Accounting is a growing field with opportunities available in areas such as public accounting, business and industry (corporate), government, not-for-profit, and education. You may decide to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to open additional doors in this exciting field. This can lead to higher salary potential and improve promotion possibilities. At Judson College, you can prepare to sit for the CPA Exam by fulfilling all education qualifications required by The Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy. Although it is not specifically required to sit for the exam, we recommend that you earn a major in Business Administration with a minor in accounting to satisfy the education requirements of becoming a CPA. Our minor in accounting is also designed to prepare you for graduate study as you may choose to pursue that option.

As you prepare for your future career in accounting, you will realize how important work experience is to employers. With that in mind, you may pursue the opportunity to earn elective credit through internships in accounting as many of our former and current students have. They have interned in the fields of taxation, corporate, public, and not-for-profit accounting. These opportunities can provide you with valuable real-world experience that is sure to impress potential employers.

Diploma in Accounting and Management at Université des Sciences Sociales

The IEA is preparing to sit the national examination of D iplôme C and G omptabilité anaging with the exception of events 1 - 5 and 9.

The preparation of DCG will be, or a year or two years depending on the number of events still to be drafted. The 1st year students are preparing for tests 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10 and 12, the 2nd year is dedicated to the preparation of tests 3 - 7 and 11.

The test 13 (relations and work experience) is prepared on the two years.

This qualification allows access to the workforce or further study to public accounting.

Accounting degree Neumann College

The more complex the business world becomes, the more demand there will be for Accounting professionals. Since Accounting is the language of business, the Accounting major introduces the student to the complexities of business both at the national and international level. At the same time, the Accounting major at Neumann College recognizes that a successful business person must be well-rounded and possess the ability to communicate proficiently in both an oral and written context. Hence, as Accounting majors are prepared to pursue their chosen career, they will be introduced to a liberal arts curriculum which will enable them to compete more effectively in a constantly changing business environment. To assist in this preparation, students will supplement their classroom instruction with practical work experience in a variety of settings through the completion of a Cooperative Education placement in Accounting.

Accounting majors have many career paths available to them. After graduation, many Accounting majors pursue a professional designation, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

We offer specific elective courses—Non-Profit Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Current Topics in Accounting—that will help you prepare for the CPA exam.

Entry requirements of UG Accounting at University of Buckingham

You must satisfy the examination requirements set by the University of Buckingham. The qualifications listed below refer to the UK A-level system. International qualifications are evaluated according to the British Council NARIC guide See Entry requirements for international students or Entry requirements for European students for more information. Mature candidates will be considered, in part, on the basis of their work experience.

If your academic qualifications currently fall below our minimum requirement, you could consider joining us for the 9- or 12-month International Foundation Programme.

What if English isn’t my first language?

Applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of proficiency in English. An equivalent to an overall score of 6.0 in IELTS is the minimum requirement.

Accelerated B.S. M.S. in Accountancy at Long Island University

An Accelerated B.S./M.S. in Accountancy is available for qualified students who want to combine a B.S. in Accountancy with an M.S. in Accountancy. The program allows a student an opportunity to obtain both degrees within five years. The B.S./M.S. in Accountancy is registered by the New York State Education Department as a 150-hour CPA licensure-qualifying program and qualifies toward a one-year reduction of the work experience requirement. Generally, a participant in this program is an undergraduate accounting major at C.W. Post. He or she may choose an accelerated track in his or her senior year. All eligibility requirements for admission to the graduate degree program must be satisfied.
